  9. USE THIS PATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.  IT HAS NOT BEEN THOROUGHLY TESTED TO WORK WITH SYSTEM 7 AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY NOW SOFTWARE.  THIS UPDATER WAS WRITTEN AS AN INTERIM FIX FOR A FEW MINOR COMPATIBILITY PROBLEMS BETWEEN SUPER BOOMERANG 2.0.3, SYSTEM 7.0 AND CETOOLBOX 1.6.

  11. I, Hiro Yamamoto of zeta soft, wrote this utility to fix the problems of Super Boomerang 2.0.3 listed below and am distributing it with the agreement of Now Software, Inc.  Now Software is working on Now Utilities 3.0, which will be fully compatible with System 7.

I am finishing Super Boomerang 3.0 and could only do very limited testing.  Use this at your own risk.  There is no guarantee as to the functionality of SB Fixer, or any upgrade in case this utility contains bugs.  In case you have questions or comments, please send me mail on CompuServe (76407,3251),  AppleLink (D5611) or GEnie (H.YAMAMOTO2).  Do not contact Now Software regarding this fix.

This "Super Boomerang Fixer" fixes minor user interface incompatibilities between Super Boomerang 2.0.3 and System 7, and fixes the incompatibility between Super Boomerang 2.0.3 and CE Toolbox 1.6.    It was not written to make Super Boomerang 2.0.3 fully compatible with System 7, nor does it add any new features.  This utility simply patches Super Boomerang 2.0.3 to make it more compatible with System 7 and CE Toolbox 1.6.

  23. ‚Ä¢    When used with CE Toolbox 1.6, Super Boomerang 2.0.3 sometimes cannot recognize Groups.

  25. ‚Ä¢    When used with System 7, the Directory Menu in the Open/Save dialog displays in the incorrect position.

  27. ‚Ä¢    When using Balloon Help in System 7, Super Boomerang 2.0.3 freezes or crashes.

  33. This patch works with System 6.0.4 or later, with Super Boomerang 2.0.3.  If you use Super Boomerang 2.0.2 or older, please update Super Boomerang to version 2.0.3 using the Now Utilities updater.

  35. 1.    Copy "Super Boomerang Fix" into your System Folder if you use System 6.0.*, or to the Control Panels Folder if you use System 7.0.  "Super Boomerang Fixer" should load just after "Super Boomerang".  If you use StartUp Manager or some other INIT manager to change the loading order of INITs/Cdevs, please make sure "Super Boomerang Fixer" is loaded just after "Super Boomerang".  If you don't use an INIT management utility, you can confirm the load order by viewing the System Folder (or Control Panels Folder) by name.

  37. 2.    Restart your computer.  If everything goes well, you will see a Super Boomerang icon with a Red Cross Mark (although displayed in B&W) on it just next to the Super Boomerang icon at startup time.  If something goes wrong, the same icon will display with a large x mark on it; the reason for the trouble is displayed above.
